Charline Fouchet was one of six aid workers killed in the terrorist attack in Kouré, Niger, on August 9, 2020. To honor her memory, her family, in agreement with the mayor of their hometown of Barentin (76), commissioned an urban mural. After her son’s death, Marie founded the organization “Léo pour le monde”, whose primary mission is to provide access to education for children who lack it, particularly in Benin and Niger.
