Trials of terrorist acts in 2024

Several terrorism trials will take place throughout 2024, you will find below the main dates.

• January 22 to February 23: trial of the Trebes-Carcassonne attack;
• 29 February to 5 April: trial of the Christmas market attack in Strasbourg;
• 4-6 March: trial on appeal of a couple who have joined Libya;
• 11-15 March: trial of the terrorist attack on police officers in Colombes on 27 April 2020;
• 22 April to 14 June: appeal trial of the Nice bombing;
• 16 May: Civil interests hearing ( Champs-Elysées bombing, 20 April 2027);
• September 16 to October 4: trial of a French jihadist for association of terrorist criminals in criminal matters;
• 23-25 September: trial of a couple returning from a war zone;
• 26-27 September: trial of a returning war zone;
• 16-20 November: trial on appeal in the context of projects of ultra-right attack;
• 20-22 November: trial of a returning war zone;
• November 4 to December 20: trial of the attack on Samuel Paty.
