Transcription and translation of the exhibit panel

Through the development of its collections, the Terrorism Memorial Museum creates a dialogue between collective history and personal stories. As part of this approach, it collects objects linked to people’s life stories, taking care to gather the testimonies associated with them.

As original artefacts, the court seals highlight the investigative work carried out by the judicial system in the pursuit of the truth. Donations from survivors and the victims’ loved ones, meanwhile, offer a more personal and sometimes intimate perspective, reminding us of the human reality behind the historical events.

The unique nature of the Terrorism Memorial Museum’s collections will make it a place that allows for a certain distance, where the act of preserving objects ensures the protection of a trace of memory.
