Event: Stabbing murder of Samuel Paty, a teacher, by a jihadist terrorist

Location: Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, France

This board game was created by a class of sixth-formers who won the 2023 Samuel Paty Prize in the Sixth-Form category, an award established in 2022 by the Association of History and Geography Teachers in tribute to the murdered history teacher.

This board game, centred on the concept of democracy, demonstrates the school’s ability to mobilise and encourage younger generations to confront terrorism, particularly through creative expression.
