On Saturday 21 September, on the occasion of the Heritage Days, Mostafa Salhane, victim of the attack on the Strasbourg Christmas market in 2018, organised a day dedicated to art therapy at the Temple-Neuf in Strasbourg.
Mostafa Salhane had been taken hostage on 11 December 2018 by the terrorist who forced him to drive him to the Strasbourg area, thus generating significant post-traumatic stress. Art therapy allowed him to advance on the path of reconstruction.
After art workshops for children, especially for the victims of the attack and the sons or daughters of victims, in the morning Mostafa Salhane opened the exhibition presenting all her painted and drawn works, some were shown to the public for the first time. The public succeeded to discover these paintings, fifteen of which were donated to the Museum-Memorial of Terrorism, which was represented by its director, Elizabeth Pelsez and the teams of the Pôle des collections.
Some of these works will also be discovered during the opening of the educational exhibition which will take place on October 16 in Paris.
